Urban Wilds

Last week Ellie and Ryan had their Wedding reception at the hauntingly beautiful MC Motors in Dalston, having tied the knot earlier in the day at Islington Town Hall.

MC Motors was a dream venue we were thrilled to get our hands on, and Ellie and Ryan were dream clients; bubbling over with excitement, wild ideas and absolute love.

The look was an unstructured prettiness to match the untamed abandon of the venue. Always looking for an excuse, we threw in a bit of a Wuthering Heights feel for good measure...

MC Motors has a treasure trove of props, which we gladly garlanded up...

One of the most fun looking bars, ever...

And some awesome old lockers to fill with trailing ivy...

Table flowers were in cut glass vases collected by the couple, filled with pastel, seasonal stems.

'Hangover Aid Kit' wedding favours (Bloody Mary mix included), a fancy dress photobooth and a lot of Champagne on ice only confirmed our suspicions that this was a wedding planned around the theme of fun. It was great to be a part of the build-up.
Congratulations to Ryan and Ellie.

Rob, Ffi and the Carnival at Farnham Castle

Rob and Ffiona's August wedding was always going to be epic...

It was held in a Norman castle (at Rob's request), there was not one but two best men, and in true South American tradition, a troupe of stilted performers hit the dance floor handing out masks and streamers to get the party started!

The couple had ming-style vases in a range of shapes and sizes shipped over from their home in Hong Kong for us to fill with arrangements of creams, whites and greens. Some rushed photos by us below - decent ones to follow!

It was a testament to how much this couple are loved by their family and friends that guests travelled from all over the globe to be there, some of them for only a matter of hours.

Take a look for yourselves at the day, captured in such a fun and original way by photographer and photofilm creator Neale James...
