Movies to Make Flowers to

Well, it is Spring, officially. But nothing has sprung, or so it feels.

So while it's cold and windy, and icy enough outside that it makes our eyes cry and the tears cling to our cheeks, we thought it a good time to share our top 5 movies to make flowers to. When we are at home, staying warm with the cat and making flowers, this is what we play on the big (normal sized) screen. In no particular order...

Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
Need we explain? If you haven't seen it, you must. A beautiful movie and subversive children's story, and the cutest baby there ever was on film.

Reality Bites
Winona and Ethan: Swoon. Janeane Garafolo: Coolest Babe Ever.  Gen X: Lost but impossibly sexy in great 90's gear. Again, swoon.

Heathers
Winona and Christian: Swoon. What an impossible babe Winona was in them days.
Some of the best croquet scenes and blazers on film. And a favourite fancy dress.

Marie Antionette
Marie Antionette is floral porn. Coppola and Boutemy do enough to make you want to douse yourself in Johnson's baby powder, tease yourself an up-do, drink champagne and eat cake.

Romeo and Juliet
Well, it's just The Best.
Plus, Leo loves a floral Hawaiian shirt in it. More Swoon.

We say, let it snow.

For the Mams

Ranunculus, Anemones and Veronicas for the Mams.

Well, not for my Ma, who got a duck shaped egg-cup instead.
(Don't judge me, we ran out of stems.)
